Day 1


Today you arrive to Peru. At arrival you will be assisted and transferred to the hotel, where you will have a briefing about the itinerary. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have about your journey in our country.

Day 2


Allin Hamusqa Kapaychik!! which means welcome in Quechua, the official language of the Incas. Today you arrive to the beautiful city of Cusco.

We take a tour of the city, starting out at the Santo Domingo convent monastery. This former Colonial monastery was previously the Koricancha temple, one of the most important temples devoted to worship of the sun. According to the chronicles, it was covered in gold Leaf and filled with golden representations of nature. Also included in the tour are stops at the Plaza de Armas and the Cathedral. After touring the most interesting sites of the city, you will be driven to the countryside outside Cusco to visit some of the remarkable Inca ruins in the area.

Included are the cult centre of Sacsayhuaman, the temple and amphitheatre of Kenko, and the Red Fortress of Puca Pucara.

Day 3


Breakfast at hotel.

In the morning you will be transferred to Ollantaytambo station to board the train towards Machu Picchu. Upon arrival to the station you will take a 25-minute motorcoach ride to "The Lost City of the Incas", which was discovered by American explorer Hiram Bingham in 1911. Enjoy a guided tour of the marvelous citadel, a unique awe-inspiring experience. Afterwards, stroll around the archaeological site. Lunch will be served at the luxury Sanctuary Lodge Restaurant.

To further enhance your travel experience we recommend you to visit the private art gallery: "Machu Pictures - Inspiring Views of the Sanctuary", located within Cafe Inkaterra in Machu Picchu pueblo, nearby the rail station. A privileged access created for you.

In the afternoon take the train back to Cusco to your hotel

Day 4


Breakfast in Hotel. Today you will take a touristic bus ride to Puno along the dramatic landscapes of the highland plateau with occasional views of tiny andean villages and herds of llamas and vicunas. We will stop at Andahuaylillas, where there is a beautiful baroque church built at the beginning of the XVIIth century. It is very well known thanks to its beautiful mural paintings. We will make a second stop at Raqchi, where there is an Inca temple built to worship Wiracocha, one of the most important Inca gods. Finally, we will stop at the archaeological site of Pukara (200BC-AD300). Lunch will be on the route at a local restaurant.

Day 5


Breakfast at hotel.

Enjoy a complete day of sailing in Titicaca Lake, the highest navigable lake in the world. Depart early in the morning for the floating islands of Uros, where the inhabitants still live as they did centuries ago, on floating islands they make with the totora reeds that grow on the lake. Continue sailing towards Taquile Island for a 30 minute, hike towards its small town inhabited by Quechua speaking natives who have, over the generations, developed both an efficient and original social system as well as a refined handweaving technique. Lunch will be served in a local house that serves as a restaurant. After lunch we will explore the island and you can appreciate the magnificent views of Lake Titicaca. After this trekking will embark and return to Puno city.

Day 6


Breakfast at hotel.

Transfer to the airport, visiting the "Chullpas" of Sillustani en route, where the ancient Aymaras used to bury their high priests in cylinder-shaped tombs. Assistance on departure
