DAY 1

Arrival in Cali, welcome by a bilingual travel guide and transfer to your hotel. In the afternoon half day city tour with the theme “Cali is Salsa”. This tour brings you to the most famous sites of Salsa. It starts with the visit of a workshop, where hand-made percussion instruments are being build, followed by a tour to the “Barrio Obrero”, the worker’s quarter. The tour ends with a visit of two of the most important dance schools in the city, where the best dancers in the world come from. Here you also have the possibility to make your first salsa steps.

DAY 2

In the morning take part in professional salsa lessons. Duration approximate 2 hours. The afternoon is at leisure. In the evening visit a typical dance-show with the option to enjoy your dinner during the show.

DAY 3

In the morning take part in professional salsa lessons. Duration approximate 2 hours. In the afternoon optional guided tour to an authentic sugar plantation, visit of the sugar cane museum and a colonial hacienda dating from the eighteenth century.

DAY 4

CALI-CARTAGENA B / - / -

During the morning, transfer to the airport and flight to Cartagena. Arrival, welcome by the bilingual travel guide and transfer to the hotel. After another 2 hours of dancing classes (Salsa, Merengue), in the evening you visit one of the best Salsa-Discotheques or Clubs of Cartagena, Mr. Barbilla (or similar).

DAY 5

CARTAGENA B / - / -

Half day city tour in Cartagena. This fascinating half day tour starts with the visit of the most representative monuments of Cartagena, starting at the Convent of La Popa (highest point of the city). It continues to the Castillo de San Felipe, an immense fort filled with history and mysteries hidden in its stone-walled tunnels, leaving the castle, visit the monument of Zapatos Viejos, the “Old Shoes”. Impressive is the huge defensive wall that surrounds the old city, which overlooks the sea and the well-preserved colonial architecture. During the rest of the visit you see churches, museums, plazas, restaurants, shops and jewelry stores. This combination makes Cartagena deserving the title of UNESCO World Heritage Site and you never forget this wonderful destination.

DAY 6

During the morning, transfer to the airport and flight to Buenos Aires. Upon arrival transfer to your hotel. The remainder of the afternoon is at leisure.

The morning is at leisure to independently explore the city.

In the afternoon you have a unique tour of the city that splendidly combines places, experiences and feelings. Tango is loved all over the world and you have the great advantage of staying in Buenos Aires, where the tango was born and you can learn how to dance it. You also learn about Carlos Gardel's life and visit typical tango venues and places in the city where the roots of Tango began.

Buenos Aires provides its visitors with all kinds of entertainment possibilities. This evening you attend an unforgettable tango show with performances by some of the best dancers and singers of the country, whilst enjoying a delicious meal. This is the perfect way to live the vibrant nightlife of Buenos Aires - the city of tango.

DAY 8

BUENOS AIRES B / - / -

Day at leisure. Optional Tour: Full day Estancia visit

Getting away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Buenos Aires, head out into the vast grassy plains of the Pampas, the birthplace of the true gaucho tradition. Spend the day on an estancia, where you can truly immerse yourself in Argentinean tradition. A typical day usually includes a welcome reception of "empanadas" (small meat pasties) and drinks, then activities such as horseback riding and riding on ancient horse-drawn carriages accompanied by seasoned gauchos. For lunch you enjoy a delicious "asado" (barbecued meats) together with good Argentinean wines and a show with folk songs and dancing. You also have the chance to witness some of the gaucho's incredible skills on horseback: Ring racing, horse racing, racing with leathers and reins test. The amazing ability of these gauchos can be appreciated through these typical displays of past traditions.

The evening is at leisure and you may go back to the Milongas on your own.

In the evening you visit Milongas, which are specific venues where people of differing ages, origins and social situations dance until very late at night the most authentic form of Tango (also called Milonga). Each Milonga has its own working hours, its own dancing style and its own crowd; you visit two of them, depending on the day the tour is scheduled.

DAY 10

Day at leisure. You can take extra Tango Lessons or be part of an:

Optional Tour: Half day premium Tigre and Delta

Discover new landscapes of the Delta of the Parana River sailing from or to the northern riverside. Departing from Buenos Aires you visit the cathedral of San Isidro and upon reaching the city of Tigre, take a premium boat cruise to discover the Delta of the Paraná – An exotic subtropical forest formed by thousands of small islands that can only be reached by water. During the boat ride, you can see exclusive yacht clubs on the side of the Luján River as well as extravagant housing and mansions on the slopes facing the La Plata River. Attractions also include the Port of Olivos, the “Monumental” (stadium of River Plate football club), the University Campus of Buenos Aires, and the local airport to see planes landing and taking off.
